Create a Watch That Is Uniquely Yours
Have an idea for a watch that doesn't exist? Whether it's inspired by a person, a story, a passion, or simply an idea you've had in your head, I'll work with you to turn that idea into an original, one-of-a-kind timepiece.
Create your own watch with a custom dial, select case styles, select movements, and personalized engravings.

How it Works
1. Tell Me Your Idea
Every custom watch starts with an idea.
Tell me what you're imagining. You don't need to know the technical details or exactly how the watch should be built. That's where I come in.
Your inspiration might be:
-
A person or special memory
-
An anniversary or milestone
-
A favorite car, hobby, or place
-
A piece of artwork
-
A particular style or era
-
Something you've imagined but can't find anywhere
You can describe your idea and share photographs, sketches, artwork, or other inspiration.
2. Let's Talk About It
Once I receive your request, I'll review your idea and reach out to discuss the project.
We'll talk about what you're looking for, including the overall style, size, movement, materials, colors, dial design, and anything else that's important to you.
This conversation also gives me a chance to determine what's practical to build and provide an initial estimate.
3. Develop the Concept
This is where your idea starts becoming a watch.
I'll take what we've discussed and develop a custom watch concept image showing the overall design and direction of what the finished piece can look like.
Depending on the project, the concept may include:
-
Dial design
-
Case style and size
-
Hands
-
Crown
-
Movement
-
Materials
-
Colors and finishes
-
Strap or bracelet
-
Caseback details
The goal isn't simply to put your name on an existing watch.
The goal is to create something that feels like it belongs to you.
4. Refine the Design
We'll review the concept together and make adjustments where needed.
This is your opportunity to provide feedback before the watch is built.
The number of revisions will depend on the complexity of the project and will be discussed before design work begins.
Once the design is finalized, you'll receive the final project details and price.
5. Approve the Design
Once you're happy with the concept, you'll approve the final design.
At this point, the watch moves from an idea into a real project.
I'll provide the final specifications, price, and estimated timeline before production begins.
6. Your Watch Goes Into Production
Once the project is approved and the required deposit has been received, I'll begin building your watch. Deposit is 50% of the final price.
Depending on the design, this may involve:
-
Creating the custom dial
-
Producing or sourcing components
-
Finishing components
-
Engraving
-
Assembly
-
Regulation
-
Testing
-
Final inspection
Because every custom watch is different, the exact process will vary from project to project.
7. Final Inspection
Before your watch leaves the workshop, I'll inspect the completed piece and make sure everything is functioning and finished as intended.
This isn't just about making sure the watch works.
It's about making sure the finished watch matches the design we agreed upon.
8. Your Watch Comes Home
Once the watch is complete and the remaining balance has been paid, your custom timepiece is carefully packaged and shipped to you.
You'll receive a watch that was designed specifically for you—not selected from a catalog
FAQ
Do I need to know exactly what I want?
No. You can come to me with a general idea, inspiration, or even just a story. Part of the process is helping turn that idea into a workable watch design.
Can you use an existing watch as inspiration?
Absolutely. You can provide photographs or examples of watches, objects, artwork, colors, or anything else that helps communicate your vision. The goal is to develop an original design rather than simply copy an existing watch.
Can I provide my own artwork?
Yes, provided you have the rights to use it. We can discuss how the artwork could be incorporated into the dial or other parts of the watch.
Can you make a custom dial for a watch I already own?
Yes. Custom dial projects are available separately. Learn About Custom Dials
How many watches do you make?
Custom watches are generally one-of-a-kind commissions. Separately, I occasionally release limited runs of my own original designs.
Do you make Seiko or G-Shock mods?
I offer Seiko or G-Shock modification services on a limited bases as part of a custom watch design, particularly when paired with an original dial or design.
